Manantial de IBERO — stone buildings and the double-arched bridge
Our Story

A family, a spring, and a promise to restore it.

The Malespin family acquired Manantial de IBERO, a historic spring estate in Navarra with its old mill, bath buildings, reservoirs and double-arched stone bridge.

We did not buy it to change it. We bought it to bring it back — so the water that drew visitors here in 1866 can welcome people again.

Anastylosis — restoring stone by stone

Anastylosis means rebuilding a historic structure with its own original stones, adding new material only where needed and always visibly. Every wall, arch and trough we can save will be cleaned, numbered and set back in place.

What Manantial de IBERO will offer

  • A day at the springs

Thermal baths and pools fed by the spring, with sauna, rest and a long lunch under the trees.

  • Historic property tours

Guided walks through the mill, turbine room, reservoirs and bridge, telling the estate’s story from Roman times to today.

  • A night stay

Guest rooms inside the restored stone buildings, with evening baths and breakfast by the river.

  • Events

Weddings, family gatherings and private dinners in the courtyard and great hall.

  • Bottled again, as in 1869

IBERO 1866 Still and Sparkling, bottling the mineral spring water once more — just as it was sold in sealed bottles in 1869.
